Once beyond a certain level, students need inspiration not just from their private teachers and solo pieces. They need the excitement of making music with others, learn to listen, and to communicate.

YMCM provides the right environment for such students:

  •       Each chamber group will be coached by an experienced and qualified musician;

    ¨       There will be a flow of communication between the program instructor and the students’ private teachers;

    ¨       Special attention will be given to selection of repertoire that benefits each and every member of the group;

    ¨       Parents can choose a meeting time and location that is convenient for them and their young musicians; and

    ¨       Focused, short-term immersion in chamber music, after which students can choose to continue the program with the same group or a different group, or simply take a break.
